What's Happening

IMPORTANT DATES FOR SUMMER/FALL:

Monday, July 9th - Online registration for the 2018-19 school year will open. Watch for an email from TeacherEase on that date with instructions for completing the enrollment forms.

Wednesday, August 1st, 10:00am - 6:00pm - Walk-in registration at the school. Bring in health forms, make payments by cash or check, and finish the online registration if you have not done so already. SchoolKidz supply kits will be available for pick up if you placed an order in the spring.

Thursday, August 2nd, 8:00am - 12:00pm - Walk-in registration at the school. Bring in health forms, make payments by cash or check, and finish the online registration if you have not done so already. SchoolKidz supply kits will be available for pick up if you placed an order in the spring.

Friday, August 3rd, 2:00pm - Elementary class lists will be posted on TeacherEase and the school website. You must have completed the online registration process for your student to be placed on a class list.

Monday, August 13th, 5:30pm - 7:00pm - Open House for students. Bring in school supplies, set up lockers, and meet your teachers.

Wednesday, August 15th, 8:15am - School begins for students K-12

Wednesday, August 22nd, 8:15am - School beings for PreK students

* If you have changed your email since last year, please email one of the secretaries with your new address so it can be updated in TeacherEase

* Schedules for Jr. High and High School students can be viewed on the TeacherEase Parent Portal

* School Supply Lists are on the website under the Enrolling Students quick link on the left

* Health Forms are on the website under District > School Health Forms

* Please check the 2018 School Health Requirements document and complete your health appointments before school begins. Remember that a new medication form will be required at the beginning of the school year for any medications (prescription and OTC) that will be brought to school.

About our school

The Lexington School District is located in and around a small rural community situated along Interstate #55, north of the twin cities of Bloomington and Normal. The city of Lexington has a population of approximately 2,100 people and is viewed as an up-and-coming community with small town values and big city amenities.  Approximately 500 students in grades PreK-12 are housed at one campus located in Lexington. Our school is rich in tradition in the classroom and on the athletic fields.  We are proud of the outstanding academic opportunities that we are able to offer our students, whether it is our small class sizes of at the elementary level, or the multiple dual-credit opportunities for our high school students.
