Each year 4th grade students enter writing contests in connection with the Storyworks reading magazine.
Ten winners are chosen from thousands of entries across the United States each month to receive a free
book. Our very own Lucas W. was chosen as a winner for the month of May! He was commended for
“writing in a mature manner and including a strong opening and closing as well”. Lucas received a copy of
the book
