Smile Illinois, is coming to Lexington School on September 13th, 2024.
This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to receive preventative dental care. The team of licensed dentists and hygienists will set up a mini-dental office in our building. Participating children will receive cleanings and fluoride treatments. X-rays and sealants are also offered, when applicable. All students up through the age of 18 are eligible.
Smile Illinois accepts Medicaid and “All Kids Insurance”
The Smile Illinois program accepts private dental insurance.
Every student who participates will receive a new toothbrush and a dental “report card” to take home. Please note that the Smile Illinois program satisfies the mandated exams required by the State of Illinois, for students in Kindergarten, 2nd, 6th , and 9th grades.
Dental forms are being sent home with elementary students on Tuesday, 8/20/24. JH & HS dental forms may be picked up in the high school office.
Please return completed forms by next Monday, 8/26/24 to the school nurse.
