Lexington High School is proud to announce that Senior Carter Coffman has been selected as one of the 26 individuals of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) 2021-22 All-State Academic Team. The 13 male and 13 female honorees of the IHSA’s top academic honor were chosen from a group that included hundreds of students throughout the state. Congrats to the Ridgeview-Lexington Wrestling team on winning the Sectional Title tonight over Prairie Central.
They advanced to Friday nights first round of the IHSA Team Dual State Finals (Elite Eight) at 7:00 pm vs Yorkville Christian at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.

The School/Youth Serving Organization Vaccination/Booster Clinic hosted by IEMA for Lexington has been cancelled. We are unaware at this time whether or not this clinic will be rescheduled.
Due to expected hazardous road conditions in the morning and a planned early dismissal, Lexington #7 Schools will be closed on Friday, February 18. Lexington #7 will implement an e-learning day for our students and staff instead. Further information regarding the e-learning schedule will be forthcoming from our building principals. Information for the staff in-service tomorrow afternoon will also be sent via email. Morning sports practices will be cancelled for tomorrow. Stay tuned for follow up announcements regarding evening activities.
